Operations & Centre Management

Streamlining systems, strengthening centre leadership and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

Led By: A Head of Operations, three Business Managers and an Operations Officer.

Overview

Our Operations team supports the daily rhythm, leadership and commercial health of each centre. We help Centre Managers lead with clarity, manage service performance and maintain a safe, organised environment for children, families and educators.

This support brings together practical oversight, centre visits, operating rhythms, reporting and leadership mentoring, so centre teams are not left to manage complex decisions in isolation.

Our Services Include

  • Operational goal setting, leadership meetings and accountability rhythms
  • Business Manager coaching and support for Centre Managers
  • Centre visits, site audits and quality improvement support
  • Occupancy, wage-to-revenue and roster oversight
  • Budget, spending, P&L, aged debt and EBITDA monitoring
  • Centre performance reporting and corrective action planning
  • Centre Manager and 2IC mentoring, training and succession planning
  • Support with escalated family complaints and complex centre matters
  • Service quality checks across programs, excursions, incursions and third-party providers
  • Funding, system access, maintenance scheduling, family communication and refund support

Outcome You Can Expect

This helps providers reduce day-to-day firefighting, strengthen consistency and give centre leaders the structure they need to operate well.

How We Work

A Clear Rhythm For Centre Support

We bring structure to the work of centre management through a clear rhythm of review, support and continuous improvement. This gives providers and centre leaders a shared view of priorities, progress and accountability.

  1. Step 1

    Understand

We listen, assess and understand your centre's goals, context and challenges.

  2. Step 2

    Stabilise

We address immediate priorities and strengthen the foundations needed for safe, consistent operations.

  3. Step 3

    Support

We work alongside your team with hands-on guidance, practical tools and department-specific expertise.

  4. Step 4

    Monitor

We review progress, measure impact and stay accountable through clear reporting and regular check-ins.

  5. Step 5

    Improve

We refine systems, uplift practice and embed improvements that support long-term centre performance.
